And why not take in the nearby Theatre Royal de la Monnaie. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts, founded by Naopleon in 1801 to relieve the overcrowded Louvre, is a top attraction. Highlights include works by Rubens (such as the pictures Four Studies of the Head of a Moor), van Dyck and Rembrandt. Another impressive painting found in the Fine Arts Museum. Further afield, a 20-minute metro ride from the city centre, is found the Atomium. Designed by Andre Waterkeyn, it reflects an iron crystal magnified 158 billion times. Brussels is also home to NATO's headquarters. John Kerry delivering a NATO press conference in Brussels.
