The London Eye is the largest ferris wheel in Europe, offering great views over Parliament and beyond HMS Belfast, a retired cruiser that saw active duty in World War Two, is moored in the Thames opposite City Hall London is full of world-class sporting venues: The Oval (pictured), Lord's cricket ground, Wembley Stadium, Twickenham and Wimbledon to name a few. Canary Wharf, on the Isle of Dogs in East London, is now a global financial centre. The O2 Arena, previously the Millennium Dome, is the world's busiest indoor arena The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which hoseted the 2012 summer Olympics, has been converted into an entertainment hub.  You can even swim in the Olympic swimming pool! Victoria Park, East London's lung, is a lesser-known attraction. Maritime Greenwich, a world heritage site, is home to the Prime Meridian, the Royal Observatory, the Royal Maritime Museum and much more besies.  London offers scores of entertainment options.  The Old Vic is undergoing a renaissance under Kevin Spacey's leadership.
